SPEECH -- Laia Orozco

Speech

Good morning ladies and gentlemen!

It’s a pleasure to be here today and I would like to start by saying congratulations for these 50 years to my grandparents, my name is Laia and I'm going to talk a little about my
grandparents, two of the essential pillars of my life.

I will always remember those days when I was 3 years old, and you, grandpa, you always come to pick me up from the school with a lot of chocolate to eat.

But I could only eat it if I didn’t say anything to my father because he didn’t want that I ate so
much chocolate. It was so exciting!

Grandma, do you remember, when I was 12 and every day that I came to your house I had
prayed you to put me for dinner a Spanish omelet?

And you always were telling me that I couldn’t eat so much omelet, because that were so
many eggs for dinner!

Or, do you remember when we were spending so many hours watching the TV and laughing
about the nonsense that people said?

In general, if I start to say all the memories that I have with you I would never end…

But lastly, I would like to say just briefly that I love you, and thanks for giving me all your love
and attention even when you had a bad day.

Congratulations for these 50 years! You are the best!
